Join the Mofongo Fest and compete for a chance to represent your city at the Grand Finals in Puerto Rico on November 8, 2025! Whether you’re a chef, home cook, dancer, or community ambassador, this is your moment to shine.

BASSIC RULES
Mofongo Contest
- All entries must feature mofongo as the main ingredient.
- Only one entry per category per person or business.
- Professional Category: Open to licensed food businesses only.
- Home Recipe: Open to non-professionals.
- Judging criteria: creativity, taste, presentation, authenticity.
Miss BORICUA
- Open to women of Puerto Rican descent, ages 18–30.
- Judged on cultural knowledge, community involvement, and personal presentation.
Salsa Couples
- Open to all couples, any gender combination, including dog+human!
- Judged on dance technique, style, musicality, and stage presence.
Entry Details
- Entry Fee: $125 per participant/category (includes professional photo/video, media exposure, certificate, and awards) for SALSA Dance Couples & Miss BORICUA.
Home Recipe Mofongo: $45/participant. Professional: Chefs- $125, Restaurants & Caterers $275, Hotels,
& Chain Restaurants $575
- How to Enter:
- Complete the official entry form.
- Submit your entry fee.
- Prepare your best mofongo, salsa routine, or cultural presentation!

Finals in Puerto Rico
- Overall city winners in each category will receive:
